As important members of the St Joseph Catholic Primary School Oatley community, students are valued for the contributions they make to the school. The Student Leadership Team comprises of two school captains, two vice captains, eight sport captains and four environmental leaders.
Students are inspired to develop their leadership potential. Every class also votes for a student to be part of the Student Representative Council (SRC) each term.
Examples of the responsibilities that nurture and cultivate their opinions and perspectives include helping with the weekly assembly, promoting social justice issues and leading whole school fitness activities.
